This game is one of the most unique and fun action games I've ever played (and this is coming from someone who've been playing video games since 1984). I recommend everyone who's able to get this game to not miss it, believe me you will be pleasantly surprised by the huge fun and quality of this new IP.
I wish Nintendo and Platinum continue this as a series, despite the negative anti-Nintendo crusade by the immature game "media".

The game looks fantastic, and the gameplay seems very fun which is the most important thing.

I might get it on Steam during a sale.

This Nintendo-hate and negativity circus is almost reaching a conspiracy status. Damned if they do, Damned if they don't.

I think it's little advanced and probably complicated for him and he might be frustrated with the relative difficulty of combat, I have a 7 year old son and I buy Monster Hunter games for myself and Pokemon games for both of us (I am 34!). A 3DS for your son is nearly a must!! but Monster Hunter, may be after few years.

Excellent little game.

I don't know why all this Sony vs MS electronic-pillow-fight is still happening. Honestly, I've almost completely transitioned to PC(thanks to Steam!!) the only thing I also care about is Nintendo games, and for that I have a WiiU and 3DS. But on the subject of GTA IV's overall performance and visuals I think the 360 version was relatively better than ps3's(I have both versions) which holds true for most of multiplats that appeared on the HD twins (I wasted massive amounts of ...

@clouds5,
My thoughts exactly, I transitioned to PC(thanks to Steam!) + Wii U(Nintendo quality that I've grown accustomed to for over 25 years of gaming!) I found that to be the best overall combination for me, oh, and that time-butchering devilish device they call 3DS!! In fact I've cancelled my PS4 preorder by the end of the crazy Steam Summer Sale.

I just finished a play session in this game on Steam Early Access, and it was really frenetic and super addictive, I wouldn't mind buying it on Wii U for the off-screen play alone. Oh and wiimote-nunchuk control would fit this game perfectly.

@ stragomccloud

I have the exact thought since I played the excellent Skyward Sword, although I am confident that Nintendo will use the gamepad in a revolutionary way. Could we ask for both methods of control since Wii U is controller neutral, or is that too much to ask? or is it even possible?

I don't think so, those Nintendo franchises have a special level of quality in them that keeps us interested in buying and enjoying them with each iteration.

Can't wait for the game to arrive to my door :) Loved every Lego game and this one looks the best among them.

This little gem is among the best on 3DS eShop, which has a considerably large collection of excellent titles.

3DS has become an absolute beast, the magnitude and sheer quality of titles released and upcoming is truly staggering and quite unparalleled.

3DS became an absolute time sponge, actually it's devoured most of my gaming time for almost a year now (and I have Wii U, Ps3, 360 and Vita), and the best is yet to come. On a side note, the music in this game is exceedingly beautiful and it's a blessing that the OST CD and the art-book came as a bonus with my pre-order :D

This is the best Strategy-Tactical RPG I've ever played in my nearly 30 years of being a gamer; The story and game-play depth, the wealth of charecters, class variety and re-class options, marriages and second generation (child) characters as well as the SpotPass content and DLC (both free and paid) in addition to the exquisitely high visual-auditory direction and production make this game truly EPIC. This IS my GotY.

Fire Emblem is among the series I love the most, I played all previous iterations of FE, and I highly recommend it to every gamer; especially this time it looks more exquisitely beautiful than ever and as always with top notch story and gameplay.

This needs to happen, it'll benefit greatly from the GamePad. If Fatal Frame gets released exclusively for the Wii U (as it's been rumored) along with Resi Revelations HD, it'll make the Wii U a destination for fans of survival horror games like myself (just finished ZombiU and it's an excellently executed and unforgettable true horror experience).
